I bought the 12V 1500V version This is a very good inverter for his money. This works very well, it can comfortably give 1KW load You need to open it and add a capacitor (not electrolytic) 1.5 or 2 microfarad (μF) to the output. It's a major drawback, it's a circuit imperfection. It's very easy to do, see the picture. I recommend it.

  • yves.yang I have a 12V 3000V version. Can I use the same solution to increase to 2KW? If so, which capacitor I should use it ?

  • Hlias @yves.yang I'm sorry I didn't answer right awayNo, you can not increase the power to 2KWThe Chinese are lying, the 3000W is not real.Their devices always prove to be safe in half.I used this inverter for continuous power supply 1450w. Until there all good, but more from 1500W the protection intervenes and stops the operationThe capacitor must be 2.2 mF NOT electrolytic, it must not have polarity -See the picture, how to place.

  • Kobie @Hilias. May the cap addition also help on the 24V 3000W version? I assume the cap voltage must be at least above 250V or higher , and that will be 2,2mF non polar. I'm more in the old school electronic field and is not so comfortable with higher voltages and AC even though I can help myself with the basics. I'd much appreciate if you may give a short explanation on the reason for the cap....filteringjQuery19106436642234115637_1602686081848?

  • Hlias @Kobie The capacitor should be 1 to 2.2mF / 250V without polarity. This is a fault in the circuit, the designer neglected it and it is serious, it is needed to normalize the current.Today I did a review on an inverter 3000W - 24V

  • BangGood20190320 Youare saying there's a 2µF polco missing after last coil? What would be the function of this capacitor? And let's suppose it was needed, shouldn't it be rated higher than 325V, the peak of 230Vrms sinusoidal?

  • Kobie @Hlias Thanks, much appreciated. I will add the caps on the two inverters. I see the standard on those caps are 250V and 400V. Any should be fine, just not lower voltage,....that could be fun....

  • Hlias @BangGood20190320 The 2μF capacitor (approx) after the last coil acts as a smoothing filter. It is necessary, in other circuits there is (coil - capacitor). This circuit is missing from this inverter. No, it does not need to have a higher rating, and 250V is enough since the peak of the sine wave reaches 230V.
