Kobie Correction, the dark picture was a setting on my phone that caused it, not the camera itself. After adjusted that, the depth of field also improved well withing a more useful range. The more I play with it, the more I enjoy and find uses for it. The troublesome setting on the phone became a useful tool to make the little camera more flexible .

Kobie @Hilias. May the cap addition also help on the 24V 3000W version? I assume the cap voltage must be at least above 250V or higher , and that will be 2,2mF non polar. I'm more in the old school electronic field and is not so comfortable with higher voltages and AC even though I can help myself with the basics. I'd much appreciate if you may give a short explanation on the reason for the cap....filteringjQuery19106436642234115637_1602686081848?

Kobie If you are comfortable with electronics, try and replace the speed control with a light dimmer, or heating element controller. It is a brushed motor, so it should work. OR, try and put load on it and see if the speed control does not work then as is. If it is a standard general purpose series motor, it will just run faster if the load is too small. With a light dimmer it may "tame" the speed somewhat with load on it.

Kobie 13V input on a 12V input inverter should not be a problem. To want 1500W continuous, you will have to go to at least a 3000W inverter. The specs shows normally the peak rating for a short time, then the continuous is about 50% of that. Drawing peak for 2 hrs will be pushing overheating and failure of the inverter.
