pqmain I use a 3-year-old 4S 2150mAh pack with my TS100. The TS100 operates very well with the pack at storage voltage (4 x 3.85 = 15.4V), so I can just leave the pack in my toolbox all the time. :) I've been using it this way for over a year now (probably used the iron 50-60 times), and the old 4S pack still performs perfectly. Don't leave packs fully charged for long periods because they degrade, even in 4-6 weeks. A 4S (or maybe 5S?) kept at storage is the way to go with the TS100.
