kezbaroo A good chance that the unit has failed. The 2200W unit is only rated for 1100W continuous and 2200W only for a short time. These units comprise a high frequency DC DC converter and use a mosfet H bridge to re-create the AC waveform and generally work well. Unlike a LF transformer inverter these units are less tolerant of surges and the mosfets can fail. Generally better to turn inverter off, plug in AC appliance and then turn DC on.

kezbaroo Ask the seller, note that the cheapest unit labelled with 2200W unit is peak only and the continuous rating is (maybe) 1100W. Refrigerator motors need 5-10 times their running rating to start.
