Did a brushless conversion on my HPI Trophy Truggy 4.6. It's way more powerful than the nitro engine. I'm going to convert all my cars now.

Q: How do I configure CCW? Do they come with nuts for both cw and ccw tightening?

godFather89 You don't really need the CCW version. It has a nyloc nut, you don't need to worry of it getting loose. It never happened to me.

It's a nice HAT, does what it says. Would've been better if it could automatically poweroff (clean) the Rpi when the battery is almost empty and power up again when power is restored. Like a true UPS...

I gave a 1.4v input from a AA battery, the output was 1.4v, changed the input to 2.8 v (2 AA batteries) the output was 2.8v .. it is not generating 3.3v

Used them on my lizard 95. It feels like a brushed now. I think they're great for learning to fly.

They're perfect for what I'm using them. Be aware they actually have a 3.3v regulator and level shifter for i2c so these modules should work fine at 5V. I'm using them in a low power application (2xAAA) so I desoldered all the useless stuff.
