siamect It depends on what battery you use, what propellers you use and the weight and the air drag of your multirotor... Not exactly the answer you want but if you start with ESC that can handle 40A continuously and 50A burst you should be fine using almost any 7 inch prop on a reasonably light multirotor and a 5s battery. 40A on 4 motors means 160A from the battery which is grotesque... The battery will probably have some opinions on the subject. After the fact... You can check your max amp draw in Betaflight OSD. Remember it shows the sum of all 4 motors. If it turns out you are too high, which is unlikely, you can put less aggressive propellers on your multirotor.
