This is the second order I have placed for a total of 4 of these units. The first one I tested worked fine for about a minute then ran full speed no matter what the pot setting. The second unit seemed to work fine, so I ordered 2 more. Again, the first unit had almost no speed variability and got so hot I got a burn from the solid state heat syncs. The latter unit seems to work fine. I am getting about a 50% working devices. I must say the ones that work, seem to work well, but disappointed that half of what I have ordered doesn't work. I recommend ordering 2 if you want one to work!

Been using this to charge my phone for a while now, the wattage display works well and is interesting to see the different current drawn by different devices. I would recommend.

Connected to automotive heater fan motor, it worked well for just a few minutes then runs the fan motor full speed whether on at any pot setting or completely switched off. I bought 2, hopefully the second one will stay working. The motor draw is approximately 11 amps max. Quite disappointed!

Unfortunately, even on a sunny day the lights only last an hour or so. All are the same length of light time. Won't serve as lights for the sidewalk up to our house because of the very short duration of any light.
