Gypo Sorry don't know about the A8 as I don't know what main board you have in there but I have had it working with Marlin with several different main boards from BIGTREETECH® SKR Mini E3, Makerbase MKS SGen_L V2.0 and several Creality boards. I believe that if you have a TFT screen working with your system now then its going to work with it. It certainly works with Marlin!

sabah Incase of Power failure, there is no voltage to measure nor there is any current to measure, however the display will still be active for maybe 10 seconds after power failure.

Q: Is the button springy or is it tactile?

sabah The button is latches on each position (tactile) , however you can easily modify it to become a spring push button (momenterly) by opening the switch and removing a small metal arm mechanism that latches the last pressed position.
