Q: My motor fried on first flight using a 3S 2200Mah battery... the plastic melted all around it. What motor should I use instead?

Donald I've an older version. About 5 years I think now. Have installed fpv camera on the wing and using a 4s 1500. Been flying it for ages like this and no problems at all. Also have 405 wing installed and inav.

You do need to follow the online minor upgrades by adding another Capacitor and boosting the solder on the positive track but after a bit of experimentation it works really well. You DO need to make sure you use a battery as per the manual.

Amazing delivery time. Banggod never lets me down and Ive been trading with them for many years now. I havent used the goggles yet but they do look quality. Picture is sharp and clear even before I fit my Diopler lenses. Had trouble with double vision which was frustrating me BUT read online that people wearing glasses should take them off and focus on a distant object then slide the google up without focusing on them and guess what double vision gone. Ill do another review once Ive used them

Q: These are supposed to be metal gears am I correct? Because a brand new servo that hasnt flown at all stripped a gear. On disassembly Ive discovered the ONLY metal gear is the main gear and all the others are nylon or something similar. The small nylon gear running on the big metal gear is completely stripped.

Q: At this stage, I would suggest you do not buy these if you want sbus. It is impossible to set the option. Sad because everything else works well. No response at all from the manufacturer

Ajax66 Simply use the FS button to select the mode in my case mode 4 for Sbus then DO NOT TOUCH THE FS BUTTON again but bind it while its flashing the mode that you have selected. It binds perfectly and saves that mode.

Q: Can you confirm that the battery 3 or 4 cells can connect directly (full voltage) to the A2 without the need of a resistor to reduce the voltage to 3.3?

Works great for everything but SBUS. You cannot select the mode for sbus. If you follow the manual the short press to set the mode simply moves it to the next mode. I needed the Sbus so I have contacted the manufacturer to see what to do. The voltage regulator accepts the full battery voltage on the A2 pin

I purchased two of these and just started to use them in an ArduPlane Matek 405 Wing build. So far I can't find a single thing wrong with the RX. Works perfectly. Even just as a standard RX in a fixed-wing or for a quad its really good. We are buying more. At the price, they can't be beaten. Forget expensive X series unless you really want Smartport. However, I have everything I need working under ArduPlane. And the battery telemetry takes the full battery voltage on A2 without resistors. Perfect

Q: How to lock in the mode? Instructions says to "SHORT PRESS THE BUTTON" but when I do that it just goes to the next mode. ----------------------------------------------- Mode select: 1. Set receiver in binding mode; 2. Each press of the F/S button advances the receiver to the next Mode, when you reach the mode that you wish to operate in, "SHORT PRESS THE BUTTON"
