Robert Youneed a solar controller to connect to the panel and then you can adjust the output voltage, they are fairly cheap 5.00 to 10.00 depending on the amp. you want.

Robert This is a 50 watt solar panel and it puts out 20 volt in full sunlight so you need a solar controller to adjust the voltage down to 13.8 for charging auto batteries.

Robert It converts 12 volt DC to 110 or 220 AC the choice is yours. On a different China website they advertise this inverter as 6000 peak and 2000 watt running power, so I purchased it and it's so small and lite that I'm sure it can only produce 500 running watts !

Robert The power is adjustable as low medium and high. High being 18 watts and medium being 5 watts and low is 1 watt
