Great little car, works well straight out of the box. really nice feature is the ability to have both slow and fast speeds on the controller allowing younger kids the ability to have a go without going too fast. standard shocks are not great but easily upgraded as I've done.

definitely a worthwhile upgrade for my wltoys a979b. the kit looks great alongside my other metal upgrade components. you will need to make a few tweaks such as drilling a hole for the steering linkage as the a979 just uses a pin rather than a through bolt, easy to do. finished product looks awesome.

AdamEdkins I have used mine a few times now and I would say on average the battery lasts about 20 - 25 minutes, but it depends on usage and if you are flat out speeding all the time.

BG371323944 yes they are interchangeable. front to rear or vice versa

AdamEdkins The front and rear arms are the same....so 2 sets of EA1001 and 2 sets of EA1002 will do it

superb quality shock absorbers. used on wltoys a979b full upgrade project. much better than other available shocks as they can be adjusted. didn't come with any oil in so I filled with 500cst and they work great.

great looking and good quality ring. only problem is android removed the phone unlock with NFC feature, which I wanted to use it for however that's no fault of the Ring.

great looking product, easy to use and comes with all cables needed for my batteries. even came with a conversion plug which it didnt require as it has a UK plug already.

definitely worthwhile as it gives great flexibility to be able to change the angle of the tyres to give more stability and control. look awesome especially alongside the other metal upgrades for the wltoys a979b.

great upgrade from standard shocks, and look great alongside other metal upgrade kit for Wltoys A979b. dont forget to buy 2 sets like me. they can be filled with oil but do leak a bit but not really meant for it anyway.

purchased these for my full metal upgrade on wltoys a979b, didnt realise they come with metal gears as standard so not used them yet. look good quality and worthwhile having them as spares.
