first full android watch, now in use for 1 week. still learning and finding advantages and disadvantages. i got a great offer for this watch with 4Gb/128Gb version. now price is almost double. missing volume control is great miss so installed external app. in system optimization you need to select the apps that need to stay active otherwise whatsapp gmail and for example strava or your own music player will shut down when screen goes off.
+fast response, no lag.
+great battery life with little less as 50% used in 24hrs on medium usage in full android mode. With simcard inserted but data disabled
+playstore
+whatsapp and strava have been tested and work.
+more flexibility and customization than wearOS watches.
+easy media (music) transfer with the usb cable.
+clear screen bright in daylight
+feels durable and robust, i hope it last for long
-no screen protector included (still need to find out if i need 39 or 40mm)
-always on screen not possible because backlight would drain battery.
-screen on when turn wrist is a little slow
-not all apps are usable because not optimized for small screen, sometimes buttons fill screen and block rest of app but i think this is general for all full android watches.
-no front camera and therefore no face unlock.
-the app on the phone needs improvement. Gaofit 1.1.0
