Great build quality for the price. I love to see how long this optical switch last. I want to try it because I had issue with normal mechanic switch keyboard (key chattering). This keyboard had some weird light due to the switch has "zoom" lens to amplify the light as well as divide the RGB channels, I had to take them out as in my attached image to make it look better. You can see in my last attached image for the weird 2-3 color per key. Software is highly customize-able once you play with it. I recommend it if you can live with 60% keyboard.

Q: Does this Keyboard have any sort of Metal in the build ( like backplate or exterior) or just plastic

Jackie The case is platic but there's metal plate that hold the key switch. It's build quality is great for the price, there's no wobble.
