octagonalman No, the M14T does not use HDMI. It uses Display Port 1.2 Alt Mode over USB-C. The monitor gets its power over USB-C. See the specifications by searching for "M14T PSREF".

octagonalman Didyou sort out the screen blinking issue?

Build-quality is quite good. And it's bright. Screen blinks every 30seconds or so. Not sure if it's the usb-c cable or the screen that's causing this. Took a loooong time to get delivered (probably due to covid-19 issues around the world).

This unit supports under-saddle mounting which is great for bicycles with rear racks where panniers may obscure any seatpost lighting. Finding an economical and modern light that fits on the rack is a challenge so this is a different way to solve the issue. Unfortunately, the light does feature two blue LEDs that makes it legally non-compliant in some countries. There are no modes that avoid the blue LEDs. Fortunately, after some prying and overcoming a small amount of glue, the unit can be disassembled. The LEDs are 3528 and may be substituted. I now have four red LEDs.

The SFL04 seems great if you're going down a dark, straight path at great speed. The beam is very narrow and doesn't appreciably spill outside that hotspot (not at a sufficient level that my eyes can use). There is a spill immediately in front of the SFL04, possibly unintentional. There is very little illumination between those two locations, which might be useful if one were to track a pothole or other debris. It's ok as a secondary special purpose light. The mount is truly terrible. There's not enough rubber to stop the unit from rotating about the handlebar. It's exacerbated by the centre of mass being so high. This can be remedied with some own-source rubber inserts. The housing is plastic. I've attached some comparisons with the SFL01, which I'm quite fond of. The SFL01 seems to be a nice all rounder with much more uniform light distribution in the direction of travel, and a bit more usable spill. It has a similar mount technique but the lower centre of mass means it's not really a problem.

Great piece of Dekaration. But on the Pics is a Base for a Table Lamp, but I got a Metall Bucket, for a hanging Lamp. Just unpack the Box. Strang parcel. The Bulb was verry well Protected in a Styrofoam mold, in a Box. But the "Base" was then fixed with Tape onto the Parcel. Hmmm Luckily everthing went ok. I would have prefer the Wood Base, but I can Handle it. BUT for this Price, the item has to be conform.
