Please note, product is tire+rim=ONE wheel. With that out of the way it is a good product and provides loads more grip on a 144001 that stock wheels. Glueing from the factory is sub par, so be prepared to reglue these wheels.

Super quality for the price. I have fitted this to a 144001 (4370KV spec) and is super fast and punchy. Surpricingly controllable on road. fitting the ESC is easy using factory sized batteries, as it will fit in front of the batteries. Using larger 2s batteries requires it to be mounted on the top deck (original esc location). If you remove the fan and a little material from the tub, my best estimate is that you can fit it without cutting the body. Alternatively you can fill the lowered section of the top plate in and mount on top (I did this), but then you have to cut the body shell. The shorter Motor in the 144001 compared to stock 550 sized motor, allows for a larger servo.

GREAT little servo. Extremely fast. I have modified the 144001 servo mount and chassis plate to fit this along a 3650 sized motor and I am very happy with the result.

Make sure to take the diffs apart and loctite and tighten them, they are not tightened and loctited from the factory. Other than that they are perfect.

Decent product for the price. Tolerances are a bit too high as the gears in the end are approx. 0.5mm too long. You either have to grind a bit off or reuse original gears.

Very nice parts they look and fit well. I would advice for the steering parts that you make sure you have extra screws on hand as the screws that keep the steering columns in place strip easily.

Q: can the Receiver handle 11.1v and if you went brushless for rc car 144001 would this be a compatible controller and Receiver

Star_Munchkin the reciever will not recieve the full 11.1V from your battery, only what the BEC in your ESC supplies, so the reciever will work fine. I have bought this exactly for a brushless upgrade to the 144001, I'll stay at 2S though. FYI: If you want to go brushless on a 144001, then pay attention to the size of the ESC.
