arrived on time and everything looks great. only 2 problems, one of the black metal motor mounts are missing and no instructions at all.

Picture was yellow, the one I got was blue. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice anodized blue but my excavator is all yellow. It will stick out like a sore thumb.

Q: do the esc's go in reverse for sure? how is it 12 volts? do the electronics run on 12 volts?

The motors, props and mounts are great. The ESC's are a helicopter unit and CAN NOT run in reverse! They are NOT compatible for dual thruster, meaning thrust steering, no rudder marine applications. I repeat, ESC's CAN NOT RUN IN REVERSE!

Don Desormeaux do the original tools work with it? do you need to modify the existing tools?

Works well, you do need to supply your own power cord / plug to attach to the excavator arm socket.
