callelewander Hi, no, don't worry, the powerbank has a BMS battery management system. One thing you need to know, if you're installing cells so that the total amount of mAhs is more than 30000mah the powerbank won't show an accurate reading. You need to reset the bms by removing all cells and reinstall them. My device: when charging from 0% it stops at 100%, I reset the bms, reading now says 69%. I continue charging to 100%. Did a check, Cells had 4.1 V When I discharge: 100% - 0% bms shuts off current. I reset bms, reading says 41%... I use 3200-3300 mah cells.
