first time buyer. package arrived in about 17 days, understandable, and package came in good condition. did a routine inspection, tightened screws, lube gears ect.I noticed some slop in front hubs, possible a washer may help or thats just how it is, obvious the steering linkage is the weakest point as a spare is included. however the front wheels tow out too much for my o.c.d. i was able to flaten/tweak an aluminum bracket, the piece the connects left to right steer, just above/behind front diff, now dthe tow is gone. im sure the extra strut support wishbone will get used as well, but not intending to abuse and bash it....after steering trim was adjusted i can see the servo still has a bit of a problem being spot on. some specs on brushless motor or the esc would be helpfull. All that aside, i feel ive gotton my moneys worth, impressive throttle control, descent speed. with some better shocks, upgraded stiffer wing, beter steering linkage/servo, this could be better yet. CutieePie You can check the 9021 v3 manual and check whether the model NO. is the same with 8456,if they are same,that seems suitable.

this thing is a beast, came in surprisingly great condition considering it comes in a bag vs a box with bubble wrap. go over all screws in metal to metal as well as any nuts and lock tite them. camber and toe was off, shocks came filled. not sure on its motor mounts capabilities to adjust for fitment of different gear yet. full review to come in spring....

sons 1 /10 scale xlf xo3 uses a different smaller plug, but despite the fitment problem, it is what is for the cost.

BG421132596 whats the update to your problem?

the thing was amazing for about three runs and then the eletronics started shorting out for a second now it wont turn on or power of any kind . now awaiting on finding out if there gonna uphold the warrenty which should absolutely not argue and send a new one out. so it sits on a shelf tillfurther notice

BG421132596 there are youtube videos of people that used 3s in x03-x04 and it actually abtained its claimed speed of 37 mph -60 kmh. dont see any other way to validate its claimed speeds...i suggest just to watch overheating of the motor when using 3s battery.
