Tom Billiodeaux Yes and NO. Not alone. You will need to add a switch/relay with controller as this is direct DC and continuous. You are not fast enough to stop the current from burning thru your thin plates at 20A min. supply this welder produces.

BG221054334 no it does not need a welding machine. just a oven transformer whose secondary wire should be 2 turns of 25mm wire and transformer should be at least 800va
