Q: Hi, all soldered OK, but my clock is only showing 2222 and 2882. temperature is showing OK. what is problem?

BG191117410 The IC DS1302 was defect, did not respond to I2C signalling, replaced it and everything is fine.

Q: IC is STC15W408AS in my kit. Works but weirdly. Display shows 2222 and 2882 alternatively, 3 changes per second, the after some seconds temperature is shown perfectly for some seconds, then back to 2222/2882 (all 4 dots are lit as well). Hitting the "+" switch shows 2882, next "+" shows -2.- the third hit on "+" brings it back to 2222/2882. All solderings are OK! Please advice how to fix this. The "manual" suggested is extremely wrong completely different PCB layout and the diagram is no good either. Please make a new updated "manual" available.
