battery performs as advertised. came precharged at 75%. a bit heavier than the factory 1800mah battery in my crawler but immensely longer run time, over an hours worth of use compared to 20ish minutes before.

Q: what battery,esc ,and servo upgrades are recommended ?

cuntdestroyer69 hobby wing 1060 is the perfect esc for this truck. the wpl branded 17g servo is a great choice. id recommend replacing the reciever and transmitter aswell as the steering isnt proportional. the factory shocks are the best option especially after you stretch and trim the springs to be softer, also drill out the edge inside the shock body so the spring doesnt catch on it. adding brass bb's to your tires to weight the wheels down will help it perform better aswell

Q: Are the steering knuckles and axle housings metal? Are the ring and pinion gears also metal?

cuntdestroyer69 gears are metal axles and housings are plastic. this truck is just an axial scx10-2 clone so all axial upgrade parts will work. injora makes some nice ones at a decent price.

cuntdestroyer69 long term update, the factory transfer case blew up (the newer versions have a better one) replaced it, took the springs apart, drilled out the rough spot in the cylinder and stretched and trimmed the springs to soften them up so it rides and flexes as it should. then filled the tires with loose brass b.b.'s to keep the weight down low and minimize strain on the drivetrain. truck is amazing now with a bit of skill/thought you can climb most anything. hopefully ill upgrade to some softer tires portals and a 2 speed soon
