t0c quieter volume set should be default, not the loud one.better quality products for babies ALWAYS have volume settings somewhere hidden a little bit, on a back, under battery hood or smthng like that... not as one of button where baby is pressing all the time. i "repaired" situation by sticking some ducktape over speaker holes.
