Wallace Chaulk Yes it will work on 120V. you have to change the plugon the existing cord or change the whole cord to a US plug cord. This would taking the unit apart and de-soldering the leads on the PCB. Note the colors of the wires in the original cord and mark the PCB. The blue wire position will become the neutral (white) and the brown wire position will be used for the black (live/hot) wire of the new US cord. Also note, as in other posts, that the temp.reading is way out of wack. There is no pot adjustment provided to align it either.. When either the cord male end is replaced or the whole cord (I suggest a 6' lamp type cord) is replaced, the charger works ok.other then the temp. reading as noted.
