Fanta_BH It will just change prefix on display from no prefix to minus prefix when u reverse polarity. So no damage or anything else bad going to happen if u reverse polarity. And as far as I know it is same for all universal multimeters. Only old analog instrument could have some issue with reverse polarity but modern digital , no harm if u reverse polarity , all will just show minus prefix in front of measured voltage on display to notify you about reverse polarity.
