edkk It’s designed for lithium ion batteries 4.2v full 3.7v nominal 2.75v empty it does not work for lifepo4 batteries there are other bms’s for that

edkk 16 amps is what this bms cam handle so yes its safe but if your application need more than 16amps you can buy the 25amps bms and so on. I recommend you not to build a battery before learning
