Giannis1 Yes you can, but it is better(safer) to use 9 X 4.5 prop on 3 cells.

Giannis1 It depends from the flying weight, wing area,airfoil type, just to mention a few of them. But generaly, with max. weight 3- 3 1/2 kg it should be o.k,but if the model is less than 2kg the motor is underestimated. Use 4cells and 11 X 3.8 prop Giannis-Thessaloniki Greece.

GiannisTzanis Giannis Thessaloniki-Greece I allready tried by my self, the sailplane with a total 4 1/2 Kg , the motor supplied from 3 cells and 12X6 carbon prop take off in just 20 m. So, yes ,my project works O.K

Giannis1 There is nothing to adjust, it's just transmitting the 7.83HZ.
