BG483184935 Can the GRBL mainboard supply 12V at 1.5A? If not, no, you need to use the supplied power unit. I had the same problem attempting to fire the laser through the PWM input, so I removed the white wire from the laser connector and put the PWM signal (blue wire) in it's place, and it now fires under control of the software.The spec sheet says specifically PWM-TTL so it should have fired using the correct input, but it didn't. Perhaps you need to disconnect the white, when using the PWM in the correct connector input. I will try that next. However, the way it is at the moment, it can still cut through 3mm plywood, on slow feed speeds.
