It appears that volantex is no longer using screws to attach control horns. For me, it was a welcomed surprise. Just make sure you add glue to surfaces before a 'trial fit' as you only get one go. They're like zip ties - once you attach there's no coming back. So, after set up and trim, she flies great. This is only my third plane and I'm impressed. Note: applying full throttle will induce a rapid climb almost vertically, which she handles easily. DON'T try to correct it by mixing in down elevator. I tried, and it almost ended in catastrophe. If you want to fly fast and level, just apply down elevator manually. Coming out of a dive will also induce the inclination to nose up. It must have something to do with the wing design and inherent angle of attack. As you can see in the photo, I've balanced the plane out with a GoPro and some AA batteries. I haven't yet tried flying it with this sort of weight, but I suspect it shouldn't have a great deal of trouble. I'm keen on taking some aerial footage and don't yet have smaller cameras to use. If you can pick up this plane for less than $200, I'd recommend it.

ror1948 it is a glider. Motor is only used to get more height and then turn motor off...it is not meant to fly around level with motor on like a sport plane.
