This unit has a brushless DC motor with a soft-start feature, but is isn't more powerful than a brush version. The torque of a brushless motor seems to be even lower. The top chain cover is held by a screw with sparse thread screwed directly in soft plastic, so it bends easily. The quality of a chain is very poor. It stretches after a couple minutes of use. The chain elongation is not uniform. Half of the turn is slack and another half is tense, so the tension cannot be corrected. At least it requires a quality chain and a strong battery to be usable.
