kit arrived undamaged. went together without problems. I put a 2mm carbon rod in the wing and 2 pieces in the front of the plane to strengthen it (as I've done with previous small scale flyers) Also put a 2mm carbon fibre rod in the tail plane and strengthened the elevator join with a piece of a wooden coffee stirrer. Fitted a Racestar 1800kv motor, 30a esc and a Turnigy nano 3s 850mah battery and a 5x3 2 blade prop. 3 cheap 9g servos (I don't bother with a rudder on these small models). Flying weight was 360g, a bit heavy but the C of G is spot on without adding weight in the nose. I gave it a couple of coats of water based varnish for extra protection. I don't think that the advertised flying weight of less than 300g is achievable. With hindsight, I needn't have bothered strengthening the wing and could saved a bit of weight. A very stable flyer. Hand launch at 75% power, throw it as hard as you can and it will climb out with no vices. 6 mm throws are enough for all aerobatic manoeuvres. Fast and stable and 10 minute flights at high power every time. Like I said with my FW190 review, these planes aren't for the novice flyer. They are very fast and agile and take some flying. It also helps if you have previous building experience to iron out the snags. Overall, I love these little kits and have now ordered the Hurricane 750mm.
