Too bad you can't set an alarm when reaching a certain voltage. Should be quite easy to adjust the firmware on the RX side. I've updated the RX to the latest and greatest firmware, but still no adjustable low voltage alarm. When flying FPV, you need an audible alarm when your flightpack is running empty. Only viable solution seems to be an OSD when using this voltage monitor when flying FPV. If you want an alarm, there is a solution for abusing the TX voltage monitoring. this enables the use of an audible alarm for your flight pack.

  • ErnestoRD You can set an alarm in the FS-i10 radio!

  • I\'m looking to get the flight pack low voltage alarm working on this radio. Are you suggesting it can be done if you hack the T voltage monitoring? If so how please? Link? Thanks

  • Hi I am looking to do just this. I think you are saying there is a way to use the TX voltage monitoring on the flight pack some how - How exactly does this solution work?

  • ErnestoRD - That's good but if i was going to spend that kind of money I would but a Taranis - the whole point with the FS-6i is it's very inexpensive - do you know how to make the mod

  • Dayve It takes a bit of modification, but instructions can be found at the following page. It's easier to do with the iA6, but it is possible with the iA6B.http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2402288

  • Thanks Dayve. I had actually found this but wasn't sure if this was what bulkpin meant as he referred to "tx voltage monitoring" so i thought it was using the TX voltage montior alarm rather than the RX voltage alarm although it could mean either. Wasn't so keen on the RX mod for the B since it's a bit harder as you say and not totally clear from just the one post what to do.
