It's an excellently built product but it's based on an ADI chip that is optimized for low power consumption instead of speed and functions. For a better clock source one has to be buy something significantly more expensive like AD9954 (it has lower jitter, 9834 has high jitter even if the comparator is used). For a wider range of functions again something significantly more expensive is required like the AD9910. So in short go for this if power consumption is your primary concern.
