Remote works perfect. I have tested it on a Ford Focus Mk. 1. After you bought the key: - You have to find a dealer which will shape the mechanical part of the key. In Germany big Ford dealers have got the machines and do it for free. But first you have to disassemble the key bit because otherwise it will not fit into the shape machines (see pictures). - Then you have to assemble your key again and have to build in the driver immobilizer part. See pictures. - Final you have to teach the remote and the vehicle immobilizer yourself. How to program the remote: 1. Take an old key of the vehicle and turn the key to 1 in the ignition lock. 2. Then turn / toggle the key 4 times in a short interval between ignition state 2 and 1 3. You have to stop at state 1 4. The car will make a beep noise (Focus Mk. 1). 5. Now you have to push the open key button on the remotes you want to teach to your vehicle. Also the existing remotes have to be teached in again! Example: After the beep, you have got 10 seconds for teaching process. Take the first remote and press the open button on the remote, take the second remote and press the open button and so on. That’s it. Now you can lock and open the car with all your remotes. How to program the cars immobilizer to the new key: 1. You need 2 keys which are already works with the car (normally you get two original keys with the car.) 2. Take the first original key and turn the key into position 2 and back to 0 in less than 1 second. 3. Take the second original key and turn the key into position 2 and back to 0 in less than 1 second. 4. Now take your new key from banggood and turn it into position 2 and let it there for about 3 seconds. Now you have to turn it back to 0 and pull it out. 5.
