For the price the item is really nice but fan power is poor, but with no noise. I have to test if it really could get cold a 100 w led light for several hours continuos, hope it will work at best perform or I will change the fan to improve air flowing. Lens is nice oritected for shipping. For sure is optimal for 50w led. Alluminium is good quality one.

Works well for my 50W led, you just need to, obviously, make sure the fan runs or you might burn your hand or atleast worsen the lifespan of the LED

Heatsink runs hot very quickly when running a 100W LED at full power, so the cooling fan is definitely needed. It probably still runs the LED quite hot, so I think this heatsink is more suited for LEDs under 100W. There shouldn't be any problem if the 100W LED is activated for short intervals. This is a handy complete package with reflector, lens and mounting screws. Don't forget that you may need a buck convertor to run the fan as this needs 12V while the LED may require more. Note that the included lens rather has a 90° angle, certainly not as narrow as 20° as specified. A 60° beam angle lens can be ordered separately at Banggood, that one has a far more narrow beam (also that lens is much thicker). Reflector and lens holder are a bit fragile so mount them carefully. Still, this is a great value package that will suit many needs.
