This is a nice narrow led strip with good brightness , and will function on 9 volts as well as the specified 12 volts. The blue LED strip which I received unfortunately contained a dead led close to the middle of the strip otherwise it functioned ok ,however due to the leds either side of the dead one becomin brighter as a result, I ended up cutting the strip in two and removing the 3 leds affected ,sadly not worth sending back being such a low cost item, but I would still buy another simply because of the narrow size.
