I'll start by saying this - we are extremely happy with the lights, the control, the stickiness of the fixing strip and the fact that it can run off a battery. However, ours came with a slight defect in the battery holder, which was easily fixed -- the metal was missing between two battery compartments so I swiped one from another similar holder. If you didn't have this option, a bit of wire or just a scrap of conductive metal would also work. It's not a reason not to order one, as far as I'm concerned, and I've not heard of anyone else having the same issue. The lights themselves are great!

The reason for this product to pay some extra money from other led strips is the remote control and to operate from distance (from 1 meter i mean not far) with the batteries.unfortunately the remote control does not work .wasted money....
