Mechanically this seems poor - the parts don't fit well, and they don't move smoothly. But the base is heavy and stable, and it's not too difficult to get things lined up correctly and in focus: the display results are then very good. A couple of people who saw mine considered buying their own. Some of the control functions are a bit difficult to figure out - usual not very helpful Chinese instructions. But there is a control there somewhere for everything you want to do, and more besides.

dicksanchez GND (0V) to the black (or dark brown) wire of servo, VCC (5V) to the red wire (in the center of connector) and one of PWM signals CH1...CH8 to the white (or orange) wire of servo. On the photo of the receiver board the row of PWM outputs is incorrectly marked as PPM.
