First impressions of this copter is that it is way more powerful than most other heli's I have flown this size. It is very quiet. Precise and accurate and flies very well in 3g and 6g modes. At 70% rates it will nearly turn over in the space it occupies with proper collective management. Tiktoks are a breeze for this bird as well as anything that I'm capable of doing in 3d mode. Piro comp is acceptable and the tail has a little shake but nothing that is unexpected for a copter with a tail motor. It's tuned pretty well. I did have the tail blow out on a really long negative pitch pump down from an abnormally large height but it did recover quickly enough that I only momentarily felt out of sync with it. I get about 4 and a half minutes of idle up at 70% throttle with the standard 700mah 2s battery that comes with the program and fly version that I bought. Overall it is a very capable package that gets the blood pumping. I don't know how it crashes yet but I've read on the forums that it's the availability of parts that's the only real drawback for those of us in the USA. Because V2 addressed most other concerns of buyers. Well done Eachine for a strong offering on this helicopter. Please make parts available from the US warehouse for this and all of the XK helicopters. Thanks again I look forward to your reply to my request.

Q: Hi, will it bind to a remote of the same heli which unfortunately I managed to crash? Will spare parts be available? Especially the tail boom. Thank you.

Brian Yes it should bind up just follow the dining instructions. Also just Google search for "E160 tail rod" and you'll have a pretty easy time finding it. You could also consider replacing it with a solid rod like lots of others do with these motor contol tailed birds. Just be sure to route the wires on the left side of the boom to avoid blade strikes on the wires and heat shrink it all down with a bright color shrink for visibility.

Fantastic little helicopter tough as nails. Be sure to order many main gear spares. It seems to be the main item that breaks. Also order a couple extra horizontal shafts. One of the best trainers I have seen come out for a very long time.

Q: Is that heli compatible with Walkera Devo transmitter, if I use a Walkera sbus reciver?

Brian There is a place on the control board to plug in an S.bus RX. As for getting it working with it I have no experience but there is a place on the board to plug in sbus or dsm RX's.

Q: I recently purchased one of these helis and while setting my transmitter the heli shut down, then kicked back to life for another 5 or so seconds,then died for good. how do I go about diagnosing which part needs replacing?

Honestly I'm surprised by the quality fit and for of this model. While slightly smaller than the original 1100 VS 1400mm the foam is smooth and sturdy. The kit appears to be well manufactured and pre assembled ready for electronics. Good value for the money IMHO.

A great little fc for wings. configuration is a snap and auto-tune inside of inav is next level. Plenty of uart ports and support for a wide array of sensors and setups. surpasses all my expectations in quality for the price. it's a great value.

The build is pretty straight forward. I didn't use the wheels and coupled with the recommended sunny sky motor its a nice flyer. I have spent some time with it and feel it runs nicely on a 2s 450 battery its stable in hover and has great roll rates. Its a solid kit for the price. I would order again

Im happy with these receivers they work well in PPM mode and also as a PWM receiver as well as described. The only con that I can see is that the antennas feel a bit stiff and im afraid they will break off if flexed too many times.

This is a really good plane. Its tough as nails and is nearly perfect for quad guys that are looking to venture into planes. Its easy to fly has a great flight envelope and comes with everything you need accept a battery and receiver. It took about 6 hours total build time. That's preparing the build, thinking it out and allow the glue to dry completely before moving along to the next step. With that said i could now build one in about 45 minutes. The instructions are fantastic and all the connections you have to make for the controller are clearly printed on the large instruction sheet. It flies well and is quite fast. A 2200 3s battery will run it up to about 85mph and a 4s will push it nearly 100. A large play area is needed for this one it will eat up a 2200 3s in about 6 minutes at full tilt and with a taranis radio 70% rates are plenty good enough to get the job done. LOS flying can be a bit tricky as the profile is narrow and its color is sky grey.. All in all this is a fantastic plane totally worth the 85$ asking price.
