Q: Q: Two different AV scanners have a problem with the contents of the RAR file. CLAMTK on Linux thinks the file stc-isp-15xxV6.70.exe is infected with "Win.Dropper.Gh0stRAT-76. Windows Defender on Win 10 reports "Trojan:Win32/Tiggre!rfn". Would the vendor check the archive and either re-upload or acknowledge a false positive? Many thanks.

Thomas Weeks I work in IT professionally. If you're going to install chinese software, do it in a sandbox, VM or a container that you can kill once you're done using it. Otherwise, you'll infect your systems. Every chinese product software I've scanned has one or more trojans or viruses in it.

BG154432046 Youneed surface mount soldering skills. Moderate - advanced. Please be aware the .rar manual and software archive appears to have a virus that the vendor does not seem to be prepared to address.

Buy several! It seems to be a lottery if you get enough parts. Additionally, the length of the litz wire for the coil seems variable in length between kits.
