The only issue is the wether information. It is not clear where the watch takes it from so it does not change. I understand that it is about adjusting it in the cellphone but no instruction for that yet. No problem! The rest is fantastic for the price!

Q: Can this radio be programed to work in the 173 mhz freq range?

ua3xds Yes it can get programmed between 136 - 174 Mhz and it works but I cannot tell whether it perfomes well. WARNING! Its antenna is NOT dedicated to work there. If you use it there change the antenna!

Q: is this walkie-talkie only one single piece? These things always come in pairs :( what good is 1 when you need 2 to get this working

ua3xds It is not a walkie-talkie per se. It is a communication station capable to talk to all the other radioamateurs having radios for these frequencies. Many people do not need two since they already have others.
