This will make your HBX 1602 or similar model much more controlable, no more bouncing. This item should be available in any EU warehouse since those models were (and I believe still are) sold in EU warehouses. This is the only reason for 4 stars.

It helps to cool down your motor a little bit on your HBX 1602 model - or any model with that motor. I would recommend to install 2 such heat sinks. There is enough room on the motor to do that and it would help to cool it down a little bit more. Really great and cheap 17mm nuts for 1:8 RC cars. I just wish they were available in any EU warehouse. This is the only reason for 4 stars.

Q: Hi does this quad shoot 4k video out of the box? And what's the total weight of the quad without battery?

mimixtz This quad does NOT shoot 4k video out of the box. It doesn't record any video in fact. That is why there is an option to install action camera on it for that purpose. I can't provide any precise information about the weight since I have totally modified mine, but out of the box it is one of the lightest 3 inch cinewhoops (if not the lightest) on the market.

Q: what size screws are used to secure it?

mimixtz They are not standard metric type screws. They are like ''wood style'' screws, tiny, with sharp tip and rough thread. I hope you know what I mean.

Quality of this frame seems excellent. Smooth edges, carbon seems good quality, no foreplay in arms, everything fits together perfectly. The only downside is that main M3 screws are too short (you can use them, but only 3mm of screw in aluminum standing is not OK by my opinion). There are no instructions, only pictures from different angles, but it is easy to figure out how to put it together properly. Overall weight 117g. Excellent ratio between available space for electronics and overall size.

I have two 5'' setups with this ESC. They have both been rock solid and super reliable for hundreds of packs. My son crashed hard into the gorund, but he didn't disarm the quad. It took us 1 or 2 minutes to get to the quad. 2 motors were spinning freely since tprops were free from the ground, other 2 motors were spinning like crazy, props were cutting the grass and digging the soil. After my son finally disarmed the quad, I touched the ESC and burned my finger. Coils on 2 motors were black - but still working. I replaced the motors just in case and the quad flown another 100 packs and is still flying like the fist day. So from my point of view: EXTRA durable and high performed ESC. Some people claims that disadvantage is no telemetry. Well, I dont care how fast my motors are spinning. But the current sensor works flawless with setting Amp scale in BF to 238. Calibrated with DC current clamps. It does not support 6S, but I'm not proffessional and I'm not a racer. And with good Mylipo Parcour 4S battery my 600g quad is pulling over 100 Amps with flying times from 3,5 min (ripping all the time) up to 6 min. So I bought the 3rd ESC for my next setup.

I ordered 2 with Flysky receiver. Binding - no problem. Mods I did on both before first flight: - Balanced all props - Lubricated bushings with special oil - Replaced power leads with 24 AWG - Replaced all connectors with 8,0mm gold plated - Sticked narrow piece of shrink tube to each battery to prevent popping out. - Reinforced camera mounting in the canopy - Reinforced RX ''antenna'' One came with Betaflight 3.3.0, another with 3.5.0. On both ESCs were allready on 16.7, D-shot600 works with no problem. I adjusted mods, OSD, voltage sensor, warnings, increased motor idle and that's all. And now me and my son are having so much fun with buzzing in our small house. Stock batteries gives 3:10-3:20 min flight times each easily.

What a great little durable flyer. You can break it only if you step on it. :-) Perfect little quad to fly in and around the house, along the street, around neighbour's house,... :-) My mods: - new power cable with XT30 (not really needed, but to use batteries I have and for peace in mind) - new camera to have basic OSD (stock is not bad, but Foxxer Predator Micro handles various light conditions much better and provides basic OSD) - reinforced VTX and RX antennas (to make it even more durable) Use batteries with really good C rating and you won't have any problems. Stock (included one) is great, Mylipo Parcour which I'm also using performs as good as included one.

Binding - no problem, flawless. Range: min. 200m, I didn't go further, circle with 400m diameter is an area more than enough for micro quad. Also no problem buzzing around and behind a house. Will definatelly buy more.
