I got my CNC 500W spindle today. I am very pleased, that the delivery was fast and the spindle was nicely packaged :)
Positives:
- The spindle is smaller than I expect (compare to my dremel - see 2nd picture). It is a nice thing, because I can easily mount it on my diy cnc machine.
- And especially it is almost 3 times more powerful than my dremel, so it is really very powerful!
Negatives:
- It is very loud at the full power (But compare to my dremel: if I set it on approximately same power, it is much much more quieter than my dremel).
- The cooling isn´t the best, but you can easily print the new fan on 3D printer. But I must say that even the original cooling is sufficient.
- It hasn´t variable chuck. It has only 1pcs 1/8 (for 3.175mm bit) collet. So if you want put there another size bits, don´t forget buy collets for it!
Summary:
It is very powerfull spindle and I strongly recommed it.
