Q: I have upgraded the firmware in my M Watch from v0.3.4 to v0.3.5. The watch will now not connect via Bluetooth and it is not recognised by the app (iOS). I cannot change the display language from Chinese. How do I fix this?

JLG Lookfor the technical service of the watch on the internet and ask them, but the watch connects to the program via bluetooth and from the program you set the preferred language, if you cannot pair it with the program, there is no way to solve it.

JonnyC The amp takes 18v AC so all you need to add is a transformer.

A surprisingly good amplifier for the price. The amplifier module does tend to run extremely hot, though, so a more substantial heat sink would be an ideal upgrade.

Item arrived in good condition and works well. Terminal posts appear to be of very poor quality but serviceable.

First and most importantly, this is a good watch let down by a useless app. The Comfit app just doesn’t work on iOS at all. It crashes on start-up. Every. Single. Time. The Zeblaze “Customer Support” agents are equally inept. Their response to my repeated pleas for an app update was “it works for us”. Pathetic. It’s a good quality, stylish, well made watch but the software is a let-down. Avoid until the app is overhauled.

JonnyC Power amplifier is required. Other small, low power, low voltage amp boards are available.

Q: I have installed the 502C unit and it seems to work fine. However sometimes when turning the volume knob I get a screech through the speakers. I am running on 12 volts dc with a 3 amp fuse installed.

JonnyC Yes, mine does that too. I ended up setting a maximum comfortable volume and use the Bluetooth source device to control the volume. Poor quality potentiometers?

I'll be honest - expectations were low when I ordered this watch for the princely sum of £13. It arrived very quickly - well done, Banggood! As usual, packaging was minimal but the watch and its box were intact. After previous experiences with "hybrid smartwatches" this device was a pleasant surprise. The screen is clearly readable at almost any angle, with a pleasing gold-on-black dial. The analogue hands are narrow and silver, giving good contrast against the LCD display so they are obvious but don't obstruct the digital functions. The backlight is dim but, as it was tested in daytime, that's not a concern. Operation of the analogue hands is completely separate from the digital functions. The app can set the time but the hands must be adjusted manually by use of a traditional crown. Historically, the major down-side of cheap "smart" watches is the supporting app and this is the case here. Fitness functions are front-and-centre but there are is no obvious way to set the behaviour of messaging alerts. The manual mentions them in passing but no guidance is given. Robustness and battery life have yet to be determined but, from appearance alone, I'll be wearing this watch often.

An excellent little amplifier with good clean sound and, given a sufficient power supply (24v, 5A), the ability to drive moderately sized speakers. I was disappointed by the extremely noisy volume control on my unit but I can live with it for the price.

This suit seems to be well built and the output voltage at spot-on 24v. I have been using it to power a Bluetooth 2.1 amplifier module and it has been problem-free so far.

Q: Are you sure this is HOT & COLD not HOT "OR" COLD? I only see one single water inlet... If this product has a mixer it should show two water inlets... One for COLD and another one for HOT. Can someone please clarify this observation?

JonnyC I assume there are two inlets under the square base like other mixer taps. Water pressure and temperature would be controlled by the left-right & forward/backward lever. Interesting design!

This could have been an excellent watch, if the display was as good as the marketing images had been accurate. The watch looks great, feels light on the wrist and the metal strap is excellent. Sadly, the displays - for there are two - are fair at best. The shiny flat glass face coupled with the characteristic blue/green background of LCD displays of old, the dark analogue hands can be difficult to make out in certain lighting conditions. The flaunted "holographic" display is a simple LCD display mounted in front of the hands and the display contrast is insufficient. There is a "backlight" but it's a single white LED chip and the bottom of the display - it's effect on readability is minimal for the LCD display and negligible on the hands. The hands, which are a nice design touch are not connected to the "smart" watch functions and cannot be adjusted through the app - they must be set manually using the buttons on the watch. The watch has four buttons, three of which are clustered together on the right side. As they are curved with the case of the watch and not textured in any way they can be quite difficult to use.
