logper1 I do believe myself you shall need some sort of pre-amplifier ... The signal from the "head" alone reading the vinyl, is too weak to drive the amplifier directly

logper1 I have ordered the unit myself, but not received it yet .. For any specific car you shall need the custom fit "facia" ...The car's hole is slightly larger than the 2 Din model... The "facia" is a plastic or rubber "square" thing that goes in between the car's hole and the radio, that fills the gap perfectly ... Additionally, in terms of the wiring .. as you can see the radio comes with some "loose" cabling at the one end , and, a connector that fits behind it .. Almost in any car , the manufacturer has a connector that is attached to the cabling inside the car ..This fits the preinstalled "entry level" radio that comes along with the car .. Should you want to change to something else ... I would propose to buy a connector that would fit ( like male - female ) to the connector the exists in the car ... You then solder those "loose" cables to the back of the connector you bought , accordingly , to fit the manufacturer's corresponding cabling .. and you are done .. There are shops that specialize in Car stereo installations .. They could provide both the "facia" as well as the "connector" required , along the installation , against a low cost.. as you are providing the Radio unit .. and get rid of all the hustle involved to connect it ... at least that is my proposal, hope I helped you
