I’m a fan of Anduril, but this thing steps down very quickly, even with the Copper head. I use good high drain batteries, Shockli and Golisi Gold. I set the room temp and increased the thermal limit to 55 and 60 and 65, nothing helps. I’ve done all I can yet within 15 seconds, and not even hot, it steps down so badly that I can ramp it back up and it’s noticeably a lot brighter. I’d consider this something wrong with Anduril in this flashlight. Same thing happens with turbo. Otherwise this is a great flashlight and the AUX LED are very cool. I got the 4000k SST20 and this throws better than a D4S or E07.

buickgnxblack The s43 18650 tube is not yet available. The S42 tube is 3mm shorter and doesn’t accept batteries with a PCB.

Keepes530 As far as the S42 tube not accepting protected batteries will this light even work on all modes with a protected cell? I know with all my other hot rod lights it trips the PCB when trying to use the higher levels. If that's the case it shouldnt matter anyway as long as the threads match and the tube makes contact
