BDProductions They call it marketing... to get you to buy it. The back of the unit clearly says at 8Ω and 10 watts that there is .5% distortion, which is a high distortion number for such a low output. Your next clue comes when they say it is a 5 channel amp and say 500+500+120 which is only 3 numbers. At least you stopped to question it. RMS is the best way to compare most amplifiers, but doesn't tell the whole story. It's much better than PMPO anyway.

BDProductions Of course it is... almost everything sold here is made in China. sadly, the best case wattage is only 100.8 watts which is 18 volts times 5.6 amps... it would take 6.66 amps to reach 120 watts... they are selling dreams here. broken dreams when reality hits.

BDProductions actually the average consumer is dumber than a board about most products, so they sell a dream here. And people will keep buying because most are too stupid to do this useful thing called research .. This panel is worse, because they also include details that the output is only 2.6A... making it a 50 watt panel, maybe. Buyer Beware

BDProductions do you like that little detail they are unclear about? best case it is only a 100 watt panel... 18V x 5.6A is only 100.8 watts... some of the vendors who sell here overpromise and underdeliver.

BDProductions The RMS output will be only about 250 watts... total of all channels driven. Depending on how many channels are driven, and the speaker impedance on each channel, and other factors, each channel can share a percentage of what the switching power supply is capable of.. typically half of what the power supply can handle for 2 channels, and a quarter for using all 4 channels. Unrealistic use of a single channel being driven and a single spike lasting milliseconds could output a theoretically higher output, but that number is not realistic in actual music.
