Excellent alternative for the HIFIBERRY. Takes a bit of research on the net to get it working with raspbian but it is worth it. Works with PI2 and PI3.

the 3.5" jack of rpi was giving a terrible noisy sound output. with this device and volumio software it is great! I will test some flac files to see the quality on good speakers. The case is also very neat. I just don't understand the white part standing out of the box. What is the feature for?

I bought this because I didn't like the noise of the standard minijack input, and i hoped i would never get to hear it again once i installed this audio card. But it never seamed to me that the card did anything at all. It doesn't show up as a choice about where you want the audio output to be. I would gladly like to have some instructions because when i got this, the only thing i knew, and got, was the components from the website. Please update the overall product information or mail me the instruction and i'll rate the product better (If it works) I do not recommend this product if you don't REALLY know what you're buying.. and.. The appearance looks awesome and the price is as low as it could be :)
