This is a beautifully engineered bit of workmanship. It is very small, possibly mass produced but what a work of art. It works very well on compressed air and revs like a conventional engine. Quite what you would use it for is anyones business but to sit on a shelf and if its noticed, it is a good talking point. Its one of those things you either like and appreciate of just not interested in it at all.

had this for about 2 months, played around with it for a while, but finally got it working beautifully off of a horizontal boiler holding 1 cup of water it ran 42 minutes with very few issues. my final goal is a boat so I'll be moving on to a double acting steam engine next as this one cant take much load. if you want to Tinker I would definatly suggest this steam engine. also the Lego pneumatic hoses and a pin fitting for re pumping balls work great to get steam from a boiler to the engine.
