This unit has reasonable sound and volume. On my crawler truck I prefer #11 with a nice lopping cam on a V-8. I have yet to get around to test out the remaining 47 sounds available on the stock set-up. It is easy to hook-up with nice long leads. My only complaint is that lower than 7 volts, it goes into an annoying alarm. Therefore I would recommend a large capacity 2c or better a 3 c to run it.
