I suspect at least one other reviewer has inserted the camera back to front judging by comments and photos. The 2 lugs with slits in them are bumpers and go to the front of the camera. That way, the microphone and front light are not obscured. The lugs should be aligned top and bottom too so that the charger socket is not covered. See my pictures. It's an excellent case.

c'est un excellent support pour protéger la runcam 3 s le plastique est mou et préviens des chocs. sur la photo il ne sert pas pour la Runcam 3S mais pour le runcam split 2. bon je sais c'est du bricolage.
